Consular registration of citizens of Kazakhstan

Consular offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan register the following categories of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1. permanently residing in the territory of the consular district;

2. temporarily located in the territory of the consular district.

The purpose of registering citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad is:

1. protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2. Full-scale assistance to the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to use all the rights granted by the legislation of the host country and international treaties the parties of which are the Republic of Kazakhstan and the host country. Also by international customs;

3. Control over the protection of the Constitution of he Republic of Kazakhstan and other legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the fulfillment of their duties by the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For a permanent consular registration, the following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section:

1. Application;

2. Filled registration card;

3. One photo of 3 * 4;

4. Copy of the passport from the 1st page;

5. A copy of the passport with a stamp of leaving for permanent residence (from 19.03.2015, notification from the migration police of the Republic of Kazakhstan);

6. Sheet of departure (original), copy of the departure sheet.

In order to apply for temporary consular registration, the following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section:

1. Application;

2. Filled registration card;

3. One photo of 3 * 4;

4. Copy of the passport from the 1st page;

5. Certificate from the place of work or study.
