Updates on Visa-Free Regime

for citizens of the USA, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, UK, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, UAE, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Swiss, Turkey and New Zealand entering and leaving Kazakhstan without visas starting from January 1, 2017

In accordance with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan amendments and additions to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №838 starting from January 1, 2017 citizens of the United States, the Commonwealth of Australia, the Republic of Austria, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Bulgaria, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada, the Republic of Chile, the Republic of Croatia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Czech Republic, the Kingdom of Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Finland, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Hellenic Republic, Hungary, the Republic of Iceland, the Republic of Ireland, the State of Israel, the Italian Republic, Japan, the South Korean Republic, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Duchy of Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Republic of Malta, the United Mexican States, the Principality of Monaco, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Poland, the Portuguese Republic, Romania, the Republic of Singapore, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Slovenia, the Kingdom of Spain, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of Turkey and New Zealand are exempt from visa requirements for visits up to 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border.

Registration of citizens of these countries is carried out by the Border Service of the National Security Committee through affixing date stamp in the “registration" migration card.

During their stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan citizens of these countries can not engage in missionary work, as well as other paid activities in accordance with the laws of the country.
