Representatives of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs got acquainted with the experience of Malaysia in the field of public administration

On April 21, 2018 in the Administrative center of Malaysia – Putrajaya Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs Mrs. Aigul Shaimova has held a meeting with Dato' Nor Inchun binti Mohamed Salleh, Deputy Director-General of Public Service of Malaysia (JPA).

During the meeting, the parties have discussed the issues of current and perspective areas of cooperation in the field of improving the civil service and the qualifications of employees.

The Malaysian side acquainted delegation from Kazakhstan with the country's experience in the sphere of public administration and development of the civil service. A.Shaimova informed the Executives of JPA about Kazakhstan's experience in implementation of civil service reforms within the framework of the Nation's Plan «100 concrete steps on implementation of five institutional reforms» proposed by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, and also introduced with measures which were taken to form a professional state apparatus, control for the quality of public services and anti-corruption.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to consider the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the two state bodies and to expand cooperation in the abovementioned area by training civil servants of Kazakhstan at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), as well as to conduct training sessions and lectures of Malaysian experts in Kazakhstan in order to exchange experience on the best practices in this field.
