Born on October 8, 1976 in Almaty. Graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the Rhine-Westphalia Technical University in Aachen with a Master degree in European Studies. He is a graduate of the International Educational Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Bolashak".
Began his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001 as an Attaché of Bilateral Cooperation Department. In 2002 he was posted to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany as an Attaché. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Attaché, Third and Second Secretary at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Austria.
In 2008, he joined the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a Senior Consultant.
From 2008 to 2014, he worked as a First Secretary and Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Germany. In November 2014, he was appointed as a Deputy Director of the Foreign Economic Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From August to October 2017, he was Interim Director of the Department of Eurasian Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prior to being appointed Consul General in Frankfurt, he served as Director of the Department of Eurasian Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Holds the diplomatic rank of Counselor of II class. Speaks German and English. Married, with three children.
