Аgreement on cooperation between Eastern Kazakhstan and Zlatibor region of Serbia was signed in Uzice

On September 6, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Nurbakh Rustemov met with the head of the regional administration Dimitry Paunovic in Uzice city, the administrative center of Zlatiborsky region.

In order to strengthen regional ties, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan and the Head of the region signed an Agreement on cooperation between the mayor's office of the East Kazakhstan region and the Administration of the Zlatibor region.

The Kazakh diplomat informed the Serbian side in detail about the social and economic situation in Kazakhstan and the development priorities set out in President Nazarbayev's Message "The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness".

Separately, the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in such priority areas as agriculture, food and military industry, construction and tourism were also discussed.

Noting the active political dialogue, the existence of a comprehensive legal framework and visa-free regime between countries, Nurbakh Rustemov urged Serbian business to enter more actively the Kazakhstan market. In particular, special attention was paid to the opportunities that arise to the business community when localizing production in the territory of Kazakhstan with subsequent output of products to the markets of the Eurasian Economic Forum and Chine.

At the end of event, the Kazakh-Serbian business forum with participation representatives of business circles and leading experts of state bodies was held. Representatives of companies, which works in agriculture, tourism, pharmaceuticals, engineering and trade took part in the forum.
