The Republic of Kazakhstan and Romania are parties to the 1961 Hague Convention, abolishing the requirements for legalizing foreign official documents.
In accordance with the Convention, documents made by the competent authorities of Kazakhstan and intended for use on the territory of Romania are stamped with “apostille" in the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To put the “APOSTILLE" stamp on Kazakhstan documents, citizens need to personally submit the following documents to the consular department:
Application - 4 copies;
Original and 4 copies of the document;
A copy of the passport - 4 copies;
Original receipt of payment of the consular fee.
Note: payment is made on each document separately.
The term of consideration of documents ranges from 3 to 6 months.
The consular department reserves the right to require additional documents from applicants.
